A lot of people have been pissed about this re design and a lot of ladies don’t like it. I am one of them! It is a dumb costume.

Now, here’s the thing, I think this boy Harley looks crazy hot. The costume is pretty dumb in all design respects but I like hot dudes and if I saw this on the cover of a comic I would pick it up. HOWEVER I would assume that the comic would be FILLED with sex. Gay sex, straight sex, bondage/corset sex. That’s because this outfit looks designed for sex, certainly not beating people up.

If Harley wore this she wouldn’t be able to inflict much damage because she’d be stopping every 5 seconds to tug the top of her shitty, hot topic corset up, and EVERY lady knows what that feels like.

I’m not into super heroes, I know basically nothing about them other than what I watched on Batman the animated series. I also think one of the reasons I got into that show and not super hero comics is because female characters were treated well. They were sexy, but they did it without flopping their tits out all over the place  and looking like they belonged in penthouse for no good reason. They fit the stories they were in and the personalities they had. I was so fucking thrilled when the character Red Claw was introduced because she had MUSCLES, she was thick and butch and I had never seen that on a super hero lady before, HOW SHOCKING! I think it’s kind of sad how shocked I was by this character:

Once again,women aren’t asking for sexuality to be stripped from comics, we are just asking for characters that make sense to the story they are in.

I’m like the only woman in the world that doesn’t care how sexually revealing a female super hero or villain’s outfit is. 

NEWS FLASH, even the males are “sexually revealing”, as they’re usually tights that show off their pecks and crotch, and well toned ass, which every straight woman loves to see, as much as straight men love to look at cleavage. 

It’s a fucking comic book, who cares. They’re not real people. I mean, really, all super hero costumes are ridiculous. they’re never practical. Do you really think Batman would be able to withstand all that weight he puts on himself, with the impenetrable armour, that thick leather cape, the utility belt, and the mask, and still be as graceful as he is? If someone wore all that, and not just a cosplay, they wouldn’t even be able to move their head. How can you creep like Batman if you can’t even look over your shoulder?

DO YOU REALLY THINK that Superman would be able to save hundreds of people a day from fires and such without his cape getting caught in something, or his clothes being torn up? And his colour scheme is so easy to spot, criminals would have been able to spot him from a mile away. 

And do not get me started on Spiderman’s uniform, because if he made that in his house by himself with store bought fabric, there is no way that thing is comfortable, warm, or safe. I’m pretty sure a mosquito could pierce through that thing. 

It’s a fucking comic book character, people. Who cares how they look like? They’re not objectifying anyone, they just want to make a character look bad ass, but also appeal to the male audience to get them interested in female characters, since that’s what the fandom is mostly made out of. Sex sells, get over it.

Comic books aren’t meant to be realistic. We’re talking about stories about people who can shape shift when they put their rings together, or men who turn into giant green monsters when they’re angry, or people who shoot thread out of their wrists. IF YOU DONT LIKE THE OUTFIT, DON’T WATCH/READ IT. STOP CRITIQUING STUPID LITTLE DETAILS. 

Btw, Wonderwoman is known for being a big woman with large muscles, because she’s an Amazon princess, and her tits were flying everywhere. And, she’s the most famous female super hero. And my favourite super hero, and I don’t appreciate people de-sexifying her outfit.
